Chessmen school

The Chessmen school is a training method developing the intellectual skills of children between 3 and 8 years including those with learning or concentration disabilities.

The methodology is based on a chessboard and chessmen, but it does not teach them to play chess. The chessboard is a precisely defined space, a rectangular grid. Such a space can accommodate various tasks including counting, geometrical perception, spatial orientation, perception of movements, etc. The chessboard also suits memory-training tasks and tasks encouraging logical thinking and/or combinatorics.
